Researchers' response to COVID-19
Coronavirus and COVID-19 have laid bare not only the health and care challenges that societies face going forward, but also wider challenges, many borne of ongoing social inequalities and injustices highlighted during the pandemic. Glasgow Caledonian University’s research community is well placed to address these challenges. This is facilitated by our research strategy being framed around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), issued by United Nations in 2015 and in place until 2030. Through the lens of the SDGs, we illustrate here our University’s comprehensive writings and research contributions to addressing the pandemic and policy responses to it.
